Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of Shenzhen Investment Limited ("SHENZHEN INVEST") have approved the subdivision of shares on the basis of 1 then existing ordinary shares ("Old Shares") of SHENZHEN INVEST into 2 new ordinary shares ("New Shares"). Effective from today (31/07/2002), a temporary counter under stock code 2953 and stock short name "SHENZHEN INVEST" will be established for trading in board lots of 4,000 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 604) for trading in board lots of 2,000 Old Shares each.
